Corgi Memorial Urns
Corgis are mostly ears. Get the ears wrong and nothing else rescues the piece — they are enormous relative to the skull, rounded at the tip, and they stand straight up. We build them separately and attach them while the clay is still soft.

Sculpting a Corgi
Corgi ears are structurally the riskiest thing we sculpt. Two thin upright plates of clay on a small head crack easily during drying and slump if the clay is too wet. They are built at a slightly thicker gauge than they look and thinned from behind.
The body is long and low, which fights the shape of a lid. We usually pose Corgis sitting rather than standing, so the length reads without the figurine overhanging the edge.
Pembroke or Cardigan matters. Pembrokes have no tail or a docked one and pointed ears; Cardigans have a full brush tail and rounder ears. Tell us which, or send a photo showing the rear.
What we look for in your photos
- The white blaze up the muzzle and between the eyes — its exact shape is unique to each dog.
- The "fairy saddle" — the darker marking over the shoulders on many Pembrokes.
- Short legs relative to a deep chest; the chest nearly touches the ground.
- That specific Corgi expression: mouth slightly open, looking pleased with itself.

Which size for a Corgi?
Typical adult weight is 10–14 kg. Size M for almost all Corgis. Size S only for a very small Pembroke.
