Privacy Policy

The short version: we use your photos to sculpt your pet and for nothing else unless you tell us otherwise. We never sell your data. You can ask us to delete everything we hold about you at any time.

Photos of your pet

The photos you send are working reference material. An artisan looks at them while sculpting, and that is the whole purpose.

If you placed an order, we keep them for up to 12 months after it, in case you want a matching piece later. After that they are deleted.
If you sent photos to see a preview and did not order, we keep them for 90 days and then delete them automatically. You can ask us to delete them sooner.
We do not use them in marketing, on this site, or on social media unless you say yes. We will ask; you can say no and it changes nothing about your order.
We do not share them with anyone outside the studio.

What we collect

Order details — name, delivery address, email, your pet's name and the details you want on the piece.
Correspondence — emails and messages, kept so we have a record of what was agreed.
Site analytics — aggregate page views. No profile is built about you as an individual.
How you found us — if you place an order, we note which site or link brought you here (a search engine, an ad, a campaign link) and the first page you landed on. Only the site's name, never the full address you came from. It is attached to your order so we know which channels are worth our time, and it is forgotten when you close the tab if you do not order. No cookie is used.
Newsletter sign-ups — if you tick the box to hear from us, we store your email address plus a record of when you agreed, the exact wording you agreed to, and the country the request came from. That record exists so we can show the consent was real if anyone asks, including you. Unsubscribing takes one click in any email we send.

Payment card details never reach us. Payments are handled by Shopify, our checkout provider, and we only see that an order was paid.

Three companies process data on our behalf: Shopify (checkout, orders, and the email list), Cloudflare (this website, the sign-up form, and the consent records behind it), and Google (the mailbox we answer you from). We do not sell your data to anyone, and we never have.

Memorial pages

We are building an optional digital memorial page feature. It is not on sale yet. When it launches, any page will be private by default and will not be indexed by search engines unless the owner explicitly chooses to make it public. Sample pages currently on this site are demonstrations and contain no real customer data.

Your rights

Email info@pepplestudio.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted. We respond within 30 days. If you are in the UK, EU, Canada or Australia, this is your right under local data protection law; we extend the same to everyone regardless of where you live.
