A forest pet urn turns the lid into a small woodland floor — sculpted mushrooms, moss, occasionally a fallen log — with your pet sitting in the middle of it. It is our most three-dimensional design and the one people spend longest looking at.

Why people choose forest & mushroom
This is the theme for dogs who were only truly themselves off-lead in trees. Owners describe a specific walk, usually one they cannot do any more without it being a whole thing.
Mushrooms also carry a quieter meaning that a few owners have raised unprompted: they are what grows out of what has fallen. Nobody needs that spelled out on the product page, but it is there.
Pieces we have made
Product images are digital visualisations, not photographs of finished pieces. Every piece is genuinely made by hand in our studio, and because of that yours will differ from what you see here.

How this design is made
The mushrooms are turned individually — cap and stem formed separately, joined, then set into the lid while everything is leather-hard. A lid might carry six or seven of them at different heights.
Moss is built up by pushing clay through a fine mesh, which produces a texture nothing else replicates. It is messy and it is worth it.
Because the lid carries so much relief, these pieces are the slowest to dry and the most likely to need a second attempt. Allow towards the longer end of our production window.
