How your parcel gets there

The United States is our largest market and the destination we ship to most often. Domestic handoff is usually to USPS, so tracking continues to update after the parcel clears customs. Delivery to Alaska, Hawaii and US territories runs a few days longer than the mainland.

Final delivery is handled by USPS, occasionally UPS or FedEx for larger pieces, and tracking continues through to your door.

Customs and duties

Import duties and taxes are not included in the item price or shipping cost. Where they apply they are collected by U.S. Customs and Border Protection or by the carrier on their behalf, and they are the buyer's responsibility.

Thresholds and rates change, sometimes at short notice, so we do not quote figures here — a wrong number on this page would be a wrong promise about your money. Check the current rules at U.S. Customs and Border Protection .

Your rights as a US buyer

Orders placed through our Etsy shop are covered by Etsy Purchase Protection in addition to our own breakage warranty.

Separately from any of that: if a piece arrives damaged, send us a photo within 14 days and we remake it free. See the breakage warranty.

Ordering for a date

With a 4–7 week lead time, Christmas orders should be placed by early November and Valentine's Day orders by early January.

If you are working towards a specific date, message us before ordering. We will tell you honestly whether it is achievable rather than take the order and hope.

Pricing in USD

Our Etsy shop is priced in Canadian dollars. Etsy converts to USD at checkout using its own rate, so the figure you pay may differ slightly from a direct conversion of the listed price.
