How your parcel gets there

UK parcels clear customs at the border and are handed to Royal Mail for delivery. If duty or VAT is charged, Royal Mail will normally hold the parcel and contact you before delivering, adding their own handling fee on top. That fee is set by Royal Mail, not by us.

Final delivery is handled by Royal Mail, and tracking continues through to your door.

Customs and duties

Import duties and taxes are not included in the item price or shipping cost. Where they apply they are collected by HM Revenue & Customs or by the carrier on their behalf, and they are the buyer's responsibility.

Thresholds and rates change, sometimes at short notice, so we do not quote figures here — a wrong number on this page would be a wrong promise about your money. Check the current rules at HM Revenue & Customs .

Your rights as a UK buyer

UK consumer law gives you strong rights on faulty goods. Note that the usual 14-day cancellation right for distance selling does not apply to personalised items made to your specification — which is why we send you a photo of the sculpture before firing.

Separately from any of that: if a piece arrives damaged, send us a photo within 14 days and we remake it free. See the breakage warranty.

Ordering for a date

With a 4–7 week lead time, Christmas orders should be placed by early November and Valentine's Day orders by early January.

If you are working towards a specific date, message us before ordering. We will tell you honestly whether it is achievable rather than take the order and hope.

Pricing in GBP

Our Etsy shop is priced in Canadian dollars. Etsy converts to GBP at checkout using its own rate, so the figure you pay may differ slightly from a direct conversion of the listed price.
